Fitness is a huge part of my life…
When I workout to merely “maintain”, or when I just try to “squeeze it in” to a busy month, I am not usually happy with the results.
On the other hand…
When I am training and passionately pursuing a goal, striving daily to be a little better than yesterday, this is when I come alive. It’s also when I achieve my greatest results.
This same concept applies to any aspect of your life.
Being fully committed to something changes things. There is a shift in your energy and even in the response of the world towards you. Great things begin to happen.
The problem is that many of us try to be fully committed to too many things. Our efforts and results become diluted.
So what do you do?
Decide on the few things that you want to focus your energy (limited supply) on during your life, or even just for the next quarter. Then, do those things well. In short, fully commit!
You may not get as many different things done, but you will probably achieve greater results than you ever have before in the things that are important to you!
